the song was recorded on june 12, 1928 (but emmett miller seems to have been singing it for at least five or six years)

This is a truly rare gem, even though Miller's version didn't sky-rocket like Hank's version. Two different eras.

Bob Dylan sounds like a fart in a box, and was a cheap copy of better, far older, genuine folk musicians, which he commercially regurgitated for culturally ignorant hippies. Emmett Miller was 40 years before him, anyway.

Wow..I definately like the Hank Williams version better, this guy has an annoying voice, sounds like he sucked the helium out of a balloon lol.
