Emmett has a great sensibility--one that burrows deep. Love Snow Dome, but have found that other songs on "Attic Faith" stick even closer and longer. Wonderful songwriter. More, please Emmett; we're waiting for that new album.

To have an amazing voice doesn't necessitate technical ability, i'm sure some of the best singers would make my ears bleed...just that it sounds nice to listen to and touches you.

Amen. Few bands can compete with them, in my book. Among the greats. One can only hope they'd give it one more try...and do a little U.S. tour. :)

Although The Prayer Boat haven't performed for several years, they haven't OFFICIALLY disbanded so I suppose there is a chance they may get back together sometime. The tragedy is that their music is too sublime to appeal to 'the masses' and despite having received rave reviews from almost every top music journal, they weren't commercially successful. Yes, I think they were the best band ever.
