According to the liner notes of texas piano on the document label piano he was actually 18, but still it's one of the best barrellhouse recordings ever.

hey, thanks for mentioning Jimmy Blythe on Youtube! I play a couple of his great tunes which I might upload videos of to Youtube sometime! I can hear a bit of Blythe in Hersal's stuff too... remember that Jimmy was only about 23 when he made his first recordings, so I guess this stuff is really young people's music!

Hi again (i didn't realize I've been commenting on my brother account but anyway). I have the original recording of this song on my computer. Have you heard it because your sounds almost the exact same. Maybe ill post it.

Yeah the left hand toke me while before I could play it but with some stretching exercise I could do it :D

The static begs the question...is that a perfect copy of a 1925 recording ? if so, my hat is off...
