@dapicturesI don't see Windows Fast OS switching to Mac OS X...It's just not going to happen is it...

@dapictures"Once again"? - remind me exactly when this happened before..What is the point of your post? It goes without saying you need a "Mac" to use the latest beta version of VMWare for "Mac".You have ripped into people here without even understanding what was being posted. Explain how someone posting screenshots of "new Mac beta software" means we are being brainwashed?
dapictures (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Once again, people are getting brainwashed into thinking that you need a Mac to do this. Have a look at my videos which demonstrate virtualization within Ubuntu Edgy Beryl on a PC. This is NOT a "Mac" feature, especially with the Intel dual-core chips and other multi-core chips available out there (even old Hyperthreading processors could do this perfectly). Don't be brainwashed into thinking this is a Mac-only feature.

Yes, you can definately use the Fast User Switching Feature. I've tested it with a colleague on an iBook and it looks absolutely cool!

Nice stuff coming out from VMware. But can you do that fast switching thing everyone's been showing with Parallels? Not that it's essential, but man that's cool. =)
