why would anyone want their final memory of a loved one to be of the person dead laying in a coffin covered in hideous caked-on makeup?? i'll never understand why people choose to hold viewings of a recently deceased of a family member.

i agree,my mom was buried in a weaved natural basket coffin and was not enbalmed,she of course had to be intered very quickly,but it was very cheap...and that is what she asked for,you can go on the internet and find out about natural funerals.this video is vile,pumping very bad chemicals into the ground is not good for nature!

OK my gram died less than 48 hours ago and she made this huge deal before she died to NOT be embalmed. The undertaker respected her wishes as we had no public viewing of her. They just said we had to see her and get her in the ground quickly as she would start to decompose. What a hard week.

it's a business, just like anything else. we need to make a profit and without it we wouldn't be around much longer. maybe you should talk to a funeral director and find out that we really only make money on caskets, urns, and vaults and that's why they are so expensive...

I told my family to do what the wanted with me because I dont care but this is just capitalism at its best. The funeral parlor pimps your misery and then charges you an astronomical price just youre grieving. Its all a bunch of BULL
