Reference: http://FreedomUniversity.tv This simple demo shows how a square wave can be represented as other functions such as a sine wave using matlab. This video also serves as a Matlab and/or simulink tutorial as applied to the concept of the Fourier seriesI will post a more thorough discussion on the Fourier Transform.

1. I get a buzz every time I press the "play" button, why2. I get the same graph as you do, but when I try to do the zoom, it doesn't look like yours. How can I make it look the same way?congratulations for your video!

Matlab does not have a function as far as I know. The purpose of this exercise is to check the calculation of the fourier coefficients were performed correctly. When I have time, I plan to put a video together for other functions: pulse, triangle, sawtooth, etc.

Fuckin awsome! But does matlab have a function, that can tell me, what amplitudes and frequencies I need for "ANY"!given function!!!!??????? not just the simple square wave. Thanx!
