In reality, Pocahotas and John Smith were never lovers and she actually married an English tobacco farmer and had his son. She did save Smith from getting his head smashed in by the Powhatan Indian Chief when she was 12. Read the book Love and Hate in Jamestown for the real story. It's really good!

Actually, Pocahontas died of smallpox. She wasn't immune to it like a lot of Europeans had become.
