i used to work with sherry swafford at the tam-o-shanter in bakersfield. steve perry used to beat her, that's why they broke up. she then had a long relationship with our guitarist and went on to marry my sister's ex-husband. she was not a slut.

I watched the VH1 behind the music - Journey video on youtube and this bitch named Sherry was really Steve's gf and she cheated on him while he was on the road. Damn I should have been Steve gf I was alot hotter than Sherry and not a slut.

I always thought his voice has gotten better with age. Forget Escape, his voice was great there, but you can really see (or hear rather) the experience taking effect.

catd66 that was the style for some musicians back in the 80s was pants to small for them. aerosmiths lead singer did the same thing in some of there songs
