Progress makes you want to puke? When cell phones first came out, they were an object of the rich - that probably made a lot of us "regular" folks mad.Now look at the world: cell phones are everywhere. It's not like space travel is going to stay expensive forever. It will come down in price. But price really shouldn't be a limiting factor in space exploration, as the benefits of going to space far outweigh the negative aspects.

Within a few decades, you will probably be able to afford it. The price may be high now, but most things start out expensive.
