As some one who lives and works dry stone walling in this glorious little corner of the world I can't tell you how lucky I feel come rain or shine to be in this landscape.

Yorkshire has a few major cities and towns worth visiting. Leeds being the best possibly. Other places of not: Sheffield? HULL(maybe not?) York, Huddersfield...Also not far to Manchester another big city full of attractions etc

Im from Portugal and im going to work in a Small Hotel in Yorkshire, and as far that i can see it seems to be a very lovely place to live and work, but is there some big citys near by? for example if i wanna go to a relatively big city do i have to travel a lot?

I like this documentary. Yorkshire is a special place. But I was thinking about what makes it so special and my questions have been more or less answered in this footage. I wish to spend some time there in the near future.

Ben visiting the dales all my life. I'm a Yorkshireman so I'm a bit bias but it's a fantastic place. Going on holiday in October for a week. Can't wait. Lots of walking with my sheepdog and plenty beers. Heaven.

Just returned from Yorkshire, and it is outstanding, beautiful countryside. Truly Gods Country, and matches and beats anywhere in the world. There was one scene i looked down at on Sutton Bank, and the way the sun came down on it was similair to Switzerland countryside. Loved Yorkshire, cant wait to get back there. |
