''Good idea, Humans were mad in the image of .....unicorns. Nope didnt work.''And you don't see how ludicrous this statement is when an equally unproven creature's name is inserted instead of your god's?If you find this normal, then no wonder you believe in the bible account for a god.

''Good idea, Humans were mad in the image of .....unicorns. Nope didnt work.''I really don't recall you claiming that humans were made in the image of god. Are you lying again?

''that atheism was a cheap answer''Atheism again, doesn't answer anything. It is a disbelief position regarding the existence of a god or gods.

The problem with every extraordinary claims made by a theist, is the lack of evidence as I pointed out in almost all of my replies to you.Simple as that. Contrary to you, I care if my beliefs are true or not and always look for the reasons and evidence that supports them (like I did for the theory of evolution you claimed I believed on faith).I want to believe in the most true things and the less false things as possible.

''that pretty much sums ub my debate with you''That's not quite accurate. Our debate had the same symptoms seen in any theist/atheist one:- Theist claims something- Atheists disbelieves and demands evidence- Theist presents holy book as evidence- Atheist demands why is holy book an evidence and what supports the book's claims- Theist ignores request and continues making claims on this holy book- Atheist points out many problems with the said book.- Ect...

The universe doesn't owe us anything at all. Believing otherwise, in spite of the lack of evidence is wishful thinking.I realize that I, and only I, am responsible for how my life turns out. My success, my failures, they are all mine. I also realize that the life I am living now is infinitely precious because, until proved otherwise, it is the only one we'll ever have.

''that pretty much sums ub my debate with you, good luck and remeber the Bible and the book i mentioned if you ever come come around to it.''Threats? Sigh. The reason why there are atheists is the lack of evidence for your god. Simple as that.I personally don't need to be comforted by a being that, as far as I am concerned doesn't exist.

Was Mr. Strobel's investigation really unbiased?

"And in the end when the athiest encounters God instead of the nothingness he had predicted, he'll recognize that atheism was a cheap answer because it refused the only thing that's not cheap - the God of infinite value" ~ Peter John Kreeft that pretty much sums ub my debate with you, good luck and remeber the Bible and the book i mentioned if you ever come come around to it.

(cont.)Paul Doland commented that Strobel portrays himself as a skeptic who would ensure a balanced perspective on the issue, but no scientists who oppose intelligent design were interviewed in the book and that the book claims to investigate scientific evidence for a creator, but most of the interviewees have their doctorates in philosophy or theology, rather than science.Credentials aren't evidence that claims are true, but they are that the person at least is knowledgeable of a given field. |
