kirk n slash r nuthing alike....slash is a blues rock god.....compare him with other bluesmen..like clapton...jimmy paige....joe perry....! kirk n slash r both gods in their own genres....n slash is not overrated...he is just too good ..hes a complete package...

uuh not really, hes not that recognizeable..i'd like to see him perform some of Max Cavaleras stuff, or Kirk Hammetts...ne ways a good guitarist doesnt need to show off his talent. ne ways GNR only have like 3-4 good songs..and Velvet Revolver only has like one good song...

Like I said, I like some metal bands, but the majority of it is shit. Slash is legendary because he's created some of the most recognizable riffs and licks of all time and has developed a signature sound that is instantly recognizable. Also he knows how to show his talent while still playing within the song.
