I am a Independent Fundamental Baptist Preacher and I look up to this man. He is the preachers preacher. I dont agree with him on every issue of doctrine but I do far more than not.

It's a little sad. I've been in curch my entire life and heard a lot of preachers. The only real reason i was listening too Rev. Beggs is because of his accent. And then through that I actually started listening too his words. Now he is a man whom i listen too every chance i get.

Jesus taught eternal security. It is clear that you do not understand the keeping power of God and His grace. No more foolish comments like this, ok?John 10:29My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all ; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand.

You basically just said the same thing I did using different language. Read Hebrews. Those who "had" escaped slavery in Egypt still died int he desert because of their "unbelief and rebellion". Believing is not a one-time event, it is a way of life. I'm not saying "once saved, always saved".. I'm saying that those who "shrink back" unto destruction were not true believers in the first place.... they simply "tasted" the heavenly gift. I think we're on the same page here.

"juliemillerfan" does that really make any sense? the flesh and its lust doesn't automatically die upon being saved. the free will to chose life or death is not taken away. the flesh lusteth against the Spirit and the Spirit against the flesh. 2per 3:20 lets you know that you can HAVE escaped and then return as a dog to your vomit, and it would have been better to not have even known the way of righteousness. read your Bible and stop parroting to this unsound, warped and damning heresies of men

Many Christians misunderstand the the teaching of eternal security. We are eternally secure in Jesus Christ and no MAN can pluck us out of His hand. The Apostle Paul repeatedly says we must persevere and "hold fast" to the faith. The teaching of eternal security, as I understand it, is saying that we don't have to constantly worry about "losing" our salvation. Those who chose to simply "walk away" from the faith are those who weren't actually saved in the first place.

how is he so much better than the Olsteens if he preaches the wicked lie of eternal security!? this man is so off-center, under the disguise of intelligent preaching. the centrality of the message of Jesus was REPENT or perish-cut off your hand, deny yourself, hate your life, sell all at God's command or perish. this brand of preaching is merely heady and void of the Spirit and will lead many to hell! |
