Last year the Dalai Lama came to a hospice building directly across the road from where I worked. I tried listening to his speech but found it very difficult to comprehend. It wasn't good English. So I got sick of it after a while and left. The sound bites you hear on the media is not what he speaks like in real life. He's very hard to understand.

It is pathetic. You mustnt look far to figure this out. We are an extremely primitive and violent species. We will surely kill ourselves off before everything is said and done. In the next life I plan on going to another planet and be reincarnated as part of a more advanced, civilized species.

Then what a great opportunity to practice compassion and relieve somebody else's suffering.

Just by the posts on here it is clear that humanity will always contain retarded psychotic assholes. The human species is pretty fucking pathetic as a whole.

my grandfather is very afiliated with the dalai lama and practices buddhism. He has met him several times and I have visited many buddhist temples. Though im not buddhist im very respectful of the practices and beliefs it carries.
