what assholes. they have no appreciation for trombones, or for music. Then again, that trombonist DID put the firecracker in his trombone. The trombonist probably was startled when the firecracker went off, and therefore accidentally threw the slide completely off the inner tubing.

to osterczyx i was just thinking that exact thing.if i was hit by a fast flying mute then i would be caught off guard and probably fall backwards.

These guys just wanna blow sh*t up. To be more realistic, the mouthpiece should be plugged to simulate the player. Then the slide might fly off.Also, if I was the conductor any object flying at me like that may cause me to jump into the audience, it wouldn't have to be a matter of pure physics.The myth may well be more plausible than indicated... haha

I have always wondered if i could do this with my trombone. I usually stick paper or a spit ball in the bell and shoot it at people but it would be awesome to shot fireworks out. I hate the fact that they used old and vintage trombones though. |
