when co-operation with the band happensthat's why this music is called 'jazz'

Haha you corrected me Largemoose. My ears are already gettin worn off. And yea I agree with you that the repetitive riff could go on because Joey supports him so well.

It's cool when it starts. Goes on WAY too long. The reason it works is because the rest of the band picks up and fills in.

I think Martino's repetitive riff works, because the simple chord sequence is fascinating, and because it exemplifies MArtino's impeccable timing. It works like a disco riff, making you feel like dancing!

I agree I have heard him do that way too many times maybe he was trying to remember some lines . on Pat M live he does the same lick it was ok then but enough already

This is a sick performance. I love JOey's solo. One of the best organ solos i've heard in a long time. I like sco and pats playing although Pat's repetitive E-F-C line at the end of his solo sounded a little boring rather than makin me feel like it's developing or reaching the climax.. PLaying that line over is good for development but over 32bar whole chorus?.. don't know. that's too much for me.

Wow I did not know that...about martino that is...I have had true respect for pat's abilities without the knowledge of that...Now its just silly. He has learned the guitar to one of the highest levels...twice. lol
