I heard that Joe Sample is a bit controlling over Randy and that she doesn't really want to sing in this new way but Sample has a way of twisting her into it. Randy is such a lovely lady, it would be a shame to see people taking advantage of her kind nature.

I saw Randy Crawford and Joe Sample at the palace in Manchester last night and it was incredible, one of the best shows I have ever seen and Joe is right about Randys voice, less is definatly more. She still sings like an angel, and her personality is fantastic. A wonderful wonderful show. Thanks Randy and Joe.

I think joe sample is serious musician, but you can't beat hearing Street Life with all the strings and brass it makes the song much more complete, this version is too dry.

I wore out the album when it first came out as well as a casette tape of this song. This accoustic version has to be the best ever.

Randy crawford is great i have loved her music for many years and finally i will be seeing her and joe live at the palace theatre in manchester at the end of the month can't wait 8-)

It must be so amazing to have someone praise your voice so passionatly as he does at the start...what a gift a voice like that is. New to her work, but love her!
