For All you Martina Newbies. Martina McBride did not go through abuse when she was younger. She is on Domestic Violence Coalition! Martina sang these songs for those who cant speak. These songs just come to her because of the powerful voice she has and the gifted lady that she is. Martina says that "The People who are the real heros are the ones who are living through abuse and living in shelters" She has such a good heart and is the best singer. I love her I have been a fan 4 8 yrs Marlord

I have to agree with Nedga360 on that last comment. I hate that I think of his show when I hear this song. However I love the story behind it. I once had a neighbor and I thought someone was breaking into his house because of all the screaming. I ran next door to make sure is wife was ok, to find that he was beating her. That was the end the few good feelings I did have for him. I am glad to say she is finally leaving him and all it cost me was sand in my Camaro...however I am not sorry

Sean Hannity needs to become a true conservative and needs to stop hiding behind his fake conservative NEOCON idealogy which is corrupting this country.

Brilliant song often taken in the wrong context - though NEVER AGAIN by Nickelback IMHO is the best anti-domestic violence anthem as the woman in the song story blows the scum away with a gun - wifebeaters deserve killing full stop.

shes a great singer but the topics of her songs are a little disturbing...independance day, concrete angel, god's will. she must have had issues growing up.
