Depending on how much you need to prep, it may or may not be as mny cotton balls per pair of shoes. The number I used was for a project like this. If you use the Angelus Paint over stitching will it die the stitching? Or will it wash out from that material?

hey man saw this video and decided to customize some air forces but just need to know a few things does it necessarily have to be angelus paint? or can it be any type of leather paint? secondly would i need to make a finishing coat after painting to water proof the shoes? if so can u specifically say what that would be =) and plz dnt say a brand name for wat i would need cuz im frm new zealand nd we wouldent have tha same stuff =P lol any help would be well appreciated =D
