Dude, he said period. That is like a triple dog dare ya kinda thing. If someone says Period, then everyone simply has to agree or their heads might actually explode, or something bad like that. No body throws period around lightly.

Can anyone remember the ESSO Happy Motoring song that introduced Hockey Night in Canada in the mid 60's? Is that the music that is being used for the horn break at 1:11? I know better now, but always thought it was the reason the song was called Classical Gas.
