there are some versions of UZI with close bolt. But these are made from the ground up, not a conversion.

I think its closer to 8.Uzi's are actually much heavier than they look. The bolt is very beefy; basically a sizable steel brick. A friend of mine picked up an IMI semi-auto UZI model A and I was surprised by how hefty it was.

You can't get it closed bolt. I own one, and you can't. Also, the Uzi wont jam very easily, it was made for a desert area, so at least sand doesn't.
