Also there is the individual difference. As a 23 yr Chinese girl,I looked much younger than Yang and Li when I was 16, though I was much taller than they are!

He kexin and Deng linlin do look younger compared to ordinary Chinese girls.But consider them as Chinese Gymnasts who are constantly under strict diet control in order to keep small and more flexible as a tradition of Chinese woman gymnast team (Look back to 1994 and 1992 when Mo huilan and Lu li were 15--looking almost asyoungh as Deng and He are now),and you will not be surprised by their tininess. As for Yang yilin and Li shanshan, they look like 17 or even 18 to me.

LWOPP:Actually, it was a south korean gymnast in the late 80's early 90's who was listed as being 15 for three straight years, kim gwang suk i believe.
