Tom and Mike are live from Williamsport and they give you a video tour of the extended fences at the Little League World Series that were altered to reduce the number of home runs--and increase the number of triples. (Which has worked they are on pace to break the # of triples this year.)For more videos and stories check out http://www.active.com/baseball...

Exactly right.

Agreed.-Fences should not be 225' all the way around. They should be 250' to the alleys and 275' to center. -Bases should be 70-75' apart, the mound 50' from home plate.-A player should be allowed to leadoff up to 7' and steal once the ball leaves the pitcher's hand (instead of waiting for it to cross the plate).-Squeeze plays, hit-and-runs, pitching from the stretch, pickoff attempts and running after dropped 3rd strikes should all be allowed.

first of all cletiger10 is right it feels like it is coming in faster but it is just getting there quicker, so on a sixty foot six inch mound, its going in at 90 mph, on a 46 ft field its still going in at 90 mph but its just getting to you faster, so get ur head out of ur ass and relieze that ur dead wrong

wut the hell only 225 im 1 and my team plays at fields from 250 to 330 feet to left field and i can prove it watch my video

Did you happen to look it up like I told you to? If you did, you'd know that speed=distance/time. If you had someone throwing from 60 feet, it would take a certain amount of time to get to the plate. But if the distance is cut down to 46 feet or 54 feet (whatever you want to say), then the time is quicker, therefore the speed stays the same. Why don't you try presenting facts as to why I'm an idiot, because I think I just made you look like an idot.

no ur a fuckin idiot

You're delusional. Why don't you go look it up. If John Smoltz stepped onto a Big League mound and threw 90 mph, then he would throw the same speed from 14 feet closer, it just gets there quicker.

yes it does it would be alot different on th radar gun
