Rhod Gilbert in "Pobl y Tafarn"

In an ill-advised attempt to compete with TV channel S4C's popular Welsh Language soap opera, 'Pobl y Cwm', the groundbreaking new Welsh TV channel 'BBC3W' produced a pilot of a surreal soap opera situation comedy 'Pobl y Tafarn' set in a public house in Llanbobl.Unfortunately, due to completely inept subtitling into the Welsh language from the original English, invasive use of canned laughter, and complaints from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Stick Insects (RSPCSI) sadly only this brief extract from the pilot episode still remains as the master copy is presumed destroyed or at least lost somewhere.
