The problem is not racism, it's that power is centralized. Our government has used regulation to create monopolies. So, with these monopolies in place, racism has an effect. Get rid of the monopolies, and racists will have the lack of power a minority should have.Affirmative Action is a bad law because it uses more loss of freedom to counter loss of freedom. Looking only at the problem of minorities wanting to have an opportunity and trying to solve that misses the point.

Barack is one guy, and if you are replying to my comment about why affirmative action is good then let me enlighten you to two things, 1.Obama benefited from Affirmative action programs, you know that right?and 2.imagine if there was no Affirmative action and some racist got his application.You do realize that racism still exists right?A lot of it too.Honestly,what do you mean by "the way we act" try to answer that by not stereotyping. Obama was not a c student,but the majority of Americans are.
