this was recorded around 1975 in the dublin mountains in a pub called the embankment, for a show called the macann man (hence jim macann introducing it)and as beautiful as luke kellys prefomance was, and could never be bettered , altough many have tried, i just have to copliment john sheean on the fiddle, man he almost makes it talk.......yes it was truly dublin in the rare auld times......
