Wouldn't telling the public about something that could potentially kill us all cause massive panic and if nothing happened wouldn't you be to blame. Personally i would rather have the meteor hit and not know it was coming cause that would kind of ruin the last days yah know. Just a though :) Meteors are tight as long as they arnt big enough to kill us all :D
