"big decision" was one of the best singles of the underrated 80s ( can't have been that bad if you had : the smiths, early REM at their peak, husker du, echo and the bunnymen, gang of four for starters)...that petrol emotion were terribly underrated and who songs would piss all over most so called "punk popsters" today

80s music wouldn't suck as much if they took off the stupid effect on the vocals.

by the way - anyone reading this who remembers them playing at musgrove road I am sending a big hello to you out there and what a great beautiful night it was

thanks so much for posting this - I saw them many times way back and it is good to be reminded of how great they were. Steve Mack had (has!) so much charisma as a lead singer - but then as now, I fancy the drummer!

They've reformed and are playing at Electric Picnic 08!

yep the o'neil bros from undertones but also two other irsh guys ciaran mcloughlin and raymond o gearmain (both great songwriters)AND STEVE american and all the better for it the antithesis to the english disaffected frontman, so many elements make this band more relevant today than the time they were around.
