im sorry but this is bullshit. When people ask me wat i know about Obama i know a lot of stuff. I didnt vote for him cuz he was black or because of his style. WTF?And Obama will not change our freedom and independence. R u stupid? A president does not have the power to take away ur freedom. I used to admire Voight. But now i see he's just talking out of his ass. Dont mean to be rude but its true. Sorry.

Cars: Yes, great boost in evolution, but also a negative in many ways. It was a great start but we should have gone to other sources of energy long ago. Electric cars go back more than 50 years, but we didn't follow through. And, I never heard of any animal being hit by a car in the prior to Europeans arriving.

Over-population of trees??? That's a first. Trees are a necessity in this World, and not just to make furniture, pencils, paper, houses, etc. Wild-fires happen; that's why you have lots of trees. Increase temperature also causes those wildfires as well as one of the leading causes: "MAN" put your cigarette in water next time. One of the causes of pollution is because we have cut down too many trees.Again; Nature isn't so bad with understanding balance.

I'm not sure who is "we": Americans or Native Americans...which are you referring too?For instance, "Over-population of animals":I've always thought Nature was pretty good at balancing herself out with this...but I could be wrong. One of the problems that came was huntinng one animal more than the other. If you hunt an animal that feeds off another, that animal can no longer do his job to keep the balance. You get rid of Cats, Rats are more, which was a cause of the plauge in Europe.

What???I think you missed the point. My point was that it didn't matter if the Europeans came or not because this land was already populated by a percentage of decent, civil, tribes...who managed the land quite well from what I read. When the European "Christians" came, they brought war, disease, pollution, etc.Not saying great things didn't come out of the USA being born, I'm not against it, I enjoy it, but to act like the Christians were some saviors to this land is absurd.

um, orange...i dunno where you live, but where i live there still are all these things...nobody's excusing what we did to the American Indians (I'M native american, i was born here)..but when we cut down trees to manage them (instead of wildfires destroying millions of acres) and hunt animals to manage them (instead of letting them get overpopulated and starve to death or get hit by cars)i'd say it's a good thing...pull your head out of your ass

True, true.

I didn't know John Voight is a racist? Can you provide specifics?? Obama is not president until he gets sworn in, and he himself doesn't consider himself in that capacity until then. I'm an easy going open minded white guy married to a Latina, whose father was black. I was raised with the "all american, all races are equal" melting pot scenario, but now I'm beginning to see the ugly green monster coming out of many many black folks who over react to anything the least bit negative about BO.

No, maybe not "this" country, but there would still be Native Americans here; as well as Trees, animals, healthy air, etc.

Umm...this country wouldn't exist were it not for the Christian men who founded it. |
