Amazing video shot by solo chaser Colt Forney of the violent Quinter Kansas wedge on May 23rd 2008. Watch him follow the wedge transitioning into a violent stovepipe as it crosses interstate 70 less than 1 mile in front of him, and being the first on the scene to assist a motorist rolled from the interstate.

It's amazing to watch these huge tornadoes go for miles barely hitting anything man-made. The Great Plains are so vast and remote. Put that same storm in my county and you'd probably have 10,000 destroyed homes.
