This is one of the finest pieces of music ever performed.

conceited and arrogant? No way. I knew him in the last years of his life. I often picked him from his lowly flat at chalk farm, drove him to pizza on the park, ate pizza with him (that was his fee) and he played the odd piece on stage to surprise the americans in the audience, and the quitly be dropped back to that flat. I am a no-one and yet i accompanied him on his out-of-tune upright. He wrote music, around a piece a day, as prolific a composer as anyone, but did not shoiut out about it.

A true masterpiece! No one plays a chromatic with more feeling than this! This goes straight to my favorites! Do you hear him bending the high notes on this chromatic? Then the low end wah wahs at the very end? Beautiful! Thanks for sharing!

It's been said in the past that Larry Adler was conceited and arrogant, listening to this I would say he had every right to be so,he changed people's perception of the harmonica from a toy to an instrument worthy of any orchestra,Masterful, thanks for posting
