imno,Spiritual realities are foundational to all living things. Thus, scientists can't, and won't create living cells.Of course, most will not face it.This is due to their fallen spiritual condition."And he is before all things, and by him all things consist." (Col 1:17)BACK to the BIBLE.:-)

When I read the side-text and terms like Atheist Alliance it gave me an uncomfortable feeling because it reminds me too much of a religious community. While atheism for me is nothing more than an absence of belief in a specified supernatural being and therefore I don't need to be part of such communities. But thanks Sam Harris, thats exactly what you point out in the beginning of this video :D.

Aw, that's Julia Sweeney doing the intro! SNL cast member from 1990 - 1994. You know, "Pat"!

I think his thinking is influenced by Eckhart Tolle.

I am an atheist. I dont mind people having religion, but i find a certain percentage of the people that refuse to even try to understand the other point of views irritating.I admire my biology teacher, who is a devoted christian, very much. He understand the theory of revolution perfectly and teaches us all he know about it, although he do not agree with it. For that, i respect him. So why cant some people actually read up before asking some stupid questions?

Lol at the guys tossing around bible quotes to support their argument. Bible quotes are, after all, irrefutable evidence and the ultimate authority on everything, including science.

Haha, Soren can't provide good points for his argument so he relies on anger. Classic. It should be obvious to every educated individual living in the 21st century that the Earth is 6000 years old, Adam and Eve actually existed, and the Earth is the center of the universe. We should also just return to our belief that the Earth is flat. Duh.

OV, don't make assumptions on me. Yes, I did pay attetion in science class. As a matter of fact I was probably in school while you were still shitting in your pants. I'm not pushing any views on anyone. I'm just curious why you feel your so enlightened. By the way since your for abortion...maybe it's too bad your mother didn't abort you.

Soren: Im not going to explain because Im tired of having to pick up the intellectual slack of christians. Its not my fault you didnt pay attention in science class and I shouldnt have to repeat the same reasons time and time again. We dont ask that you believe in evolution, only that you are at least educated in the matter so that you can actually contribute to the debate. I dont believe in the bible but at least Im educated in regaurds of what the bible says.
