AK wouldnt happen to be Century Arms would it?Might as well have been built from trash can sheet metal if it is.Try Arsenal or ORF. They are built to standards matching those of Colt and Bushmaster. Try the .223 cal AK and I bet you'll love both its performance and accuracy.

I have both and the AK sucks. I have had more problems with it then I think is acceptable. My AR, on the other hand, has never had a problem in over 4,000 rounds. Not one FTE, FTF, or anything. I once shot over 1,000 rounds through it plus dust sad and other crap to see what happens and it worked like a champ. I'll take the AR any day of the week over an AK. Though I would prefer the 6.8 SPC cartridge over the 5.56mm or 7.62x39mm.

After seeing this, I would still choose the AR over the AK. I have both so my bases are covered, but I think the AR is the better over all weapon system. |
