banoct, her jumps were actually good because of the transitions, executions, levels on spins, and level 3 footwork. she was downgraded a bit but it's depending on the GOE(Grade Of Execution) and she covered the ice with great speed, which gives her good S.S(Skating Skill) marks. and she had good IN.(interpretation with music) mark. just watch her skate with the music. it's not only the jumps people should be worried about, it's everything now.

I think Mao is a true champion and true fighter. The way she came back after that scary fall is just amazing and admiring. Mao is one tough cookie and such a total package who has great lyrical artistry and does most diffucult and technically demanding jumps. I'm so happy she's now a world champion.

And also Mao NEVER planned to do any of them with that timing. All she had to do between the triple axel and the next triple-triple combo was always sweeping across the floor, which does NOT count as "element".

do you know cbs and espn coverage do not represent world view. in addition, we are only exchange information on our view as well. buttom line is, mao did not deserve 2008 world title; again, not only nasty fall & missing 20 seconds of crucial elements clearly tell???? mao steals 2008 world title
