I fired the mp5 twice at 100 meters, I was getting good hits on an ETR target both times on single shot and with iron sights, sure I didn't hit much on automatic... thats for close quarters... but the mp5 is accurate up to 100m Just cause the SAS don't use it apart from during CQB ops doesn't mean that its not accurate. Its one of the most accurate sub machine guns available, that is one of the reasons why they use it. McNabs word is not the Gospel you know...

its true. The MP5 isnt meant to be anything near a sniper rifle,-it's designed to be used at close quarter combat distances, such as indoors. The ballistics of the 9mm and the 10mm make it hard to get good hits outside of 30-40 meters. When I fired the 10mm version of the MP5 in bursts, the second and third shots are always hard to control accurately. if he's at the other end of a room you'll hit him, but if he's over on that hill burst serves no purpose.

lol you clueless moron.. 21 SAS and 23 SAS are TA units. So right off the bat we've established that you haven't got a fucking clue. Michael Asher, who is former Regiment, has written a book critical of McNab's account of the doomed B20 mission and confirms that McNab was indeed in the SAS. So you know fuck all.

He was in SAS, and that is not his real name. He has also trained various British Government Agencies.

Its the cocking handle... I know what he means by letting the working parts go forward. That is about as technical as army speak gets and is a phrase which is used. But however I do agree. I think he bullshits about being in the SAS. He was in the TA or some rifle regiment at most and made his career in fantasy writing.

"EH single shot up to about 20m... good bursts up to about 7m" Clearly somebody who has either fired blanks their entire life or never fired this on a range. He's still makin a mint out of you gullable fucks... HAHAHA - alllll the way to the bank.
