if youve played f1 xbox/ps2 games from this era like f1 2002 or career challenge etc, the cars sound nothing like a real f1 car

Remember the lap at Spa he did through the smoke? He kept his foot down even though he couldn't see a thing.

v10 was fast, although i've noticed kimi took eau rouge through radillion at 6th gear, today they take it at 7th. still its flat out no lift, and the v10 time was faster even at 2002 vs v8, when 2004 was considered fasterv10+slicks+no TC+less downforce = racing!

i'm a huge mclaren fan and kimi's days at mclaren made me respect him so much because he was always on the very ragged edge, every week with a car that almost guarenteed to break something at one point or another :\ .so much respect kimi :D . go lewis hamilton! :D . and the motor sounds great in this video. must be a v10 :D

the fastest driver

Raikkonen is a smart driver, and about the tires, kimi has another drivingstyle then the others which he's getting advantage off: his tires need longer to wadrivesrmup but once on temperature he keeps driving fastest laps. The only reason he wasn't enough to be top class was his f*cking shitcar -> 40% of his races at mclaren ended in a retirement...

Kimi @ his best in a McLaren. On the ragged edge!..

yeh i've not heard that from Ferrari but it was Mclaren race engineers who made the comment about Kimi although how comparable the telemtenry data is from car to car and year to year, i don't know. My feeling is that over a long stint, Schumacher and Raikkonen are probably the two fastest of all time but Senna's maximum fastest lap speed, as in a quali lap was faster than them both. i struggle to think of an occaision when Senna was markedly faster than Schumacher over a whole race... |
