@ Mrescobar11...when you asked "The guy in the video said it keeps him alive so naturally my question is how so?" My belief what the guy meant from saying it keeps him alive is his way of saying that is the only thing that keeps him going because all else fails. When you are in so much pain and all the pain meds in the world dont do anything for you, let alone being in a wheelchair for life, you feel down, depressed, and weed relaxes and numbs, making you live life little better.

Yea i know what Muscular Distrophy is but thanks for answering. The guy in the video said it keeps him alive so naturally my question is how so? I took it literally because those are strong words, suggesting you will die w/o pot. regardless, i still think it should be legal medically, decriminalized socially and while I disagree with Mitt completely on this, I don't think he meant to be a dick like he seems. He can't focus all his attention on one person in a room of many. peace

It doesn't "keep them alive", Muscular Distrophy is a disease that effects muscles, and people with it have trouble controlling their muscles, so their muscles tense up, and they have a wide range of troubles from not being able to move certains parts of their body, etc. Marijuana loosens those muscles and provides pain relief, etc, where most other drugs fail..
