In one of its news bulletins CNN has shown Russian tanks and ruined buildings which they claimed are in the Georgian town of Gori. Russian cameraman of the Russian TV channel, who did the footage in reality in South Ossetian city of Tskhinvali says CNN aired footage of Tskhinvali district close to former Russian peacekeepers headquarters, nearly all of them were killed by Georgians after the footage was made.

Gori was destroyed eh? So why dont you show pictures from there? Why show Tskhinvali instead and claim that to be Gori? Why were the remaining 600 ppl in Gori happy to see Russians and asked them for food cuz the authorities, including medics and police, left the city. Why do the ppl who were there answer to the question about bombing with a counter-question "What bombing?" Why did Saakashivili lie that he saw the market bombed if its fully intact? Airport - same.

I was in Gori and I am a "NEUTRAL" observer. Gori was destroyed, except for Stalin's Statue. Apartment buildings by the hundreds were destroyed All "critical" infrastructure was destroyed. The Russians claimed they used "laser" munitions, aparment building were NO WHERE near the military installations in Gori. I saw many DEAD Georgians that were laying in the streets days after the bombings and Russians soldiers "smoking" cigarettes taking pictures laughing at their "trophies".

I'm sorry. Why CNN (and other NATO-channels) used footage of Tskhinvali and said that this is Gori. If Gori was destroyed why they didn't show the truth about Gori? They only can use footage Tskhinvali. Where is logic?

Fact is - West tell the "truth" thats good for them. They need an image of the bad guy. What can be better than Russia for that role? All are scared of crazy Russian commies, aint that right? So, you start a war and keep silence until Russia has to step in and the shout around "Look, look crazy Russian commies want to restore USSR"... idiocy pure.

Heard what Saakashvili said about Gori marketplace? "2 500kg bombs blah blah.." Yeah, right, 500kg my azz. take a trip and have a look. And ask locals about bombing, they will ask you "What bombing?".What about the Airport? Saakashvili said "Russians bombed it".. hmm.. i wonder how could it be FULLY intact a couple hours later when French an Finnish FMs arrived?! This goes on and on.

How many georgian civilians died? Georgia says 118, i bet its not over 30. How many Ossetains died from direct MLRS attack? at least 1400 in first 4 hours BEFORE Russia stepped in. Thats over 10% of the cities total population, mostly consisting of women, children and elders.Dont be a double standard fool and open your eyes.

dude, fock the UN reports, they dont mention Georgian attack and the civilian deaths of Ossetians at all. In fact ~40% of the buildings in Thskinvali are not suitable for living. 80% of the remaining buildings have light damage (shattered windows). 11 Ossetian villages south from Thskinvali exist no more with over 500 of their total population.Been in Gori? few broken windows (surprisingly all in 1st floor stores) and 1 burned apartment (2nd floor block building), clearly not a bomb damage.

According to this UN research the situation differs a lot between the town Tskhinvali and the Georgian villages upstream:- Tskhinvali: 4211 buildings = 175 destroyed + 55 severely damaged + 3981 with no visible damage. (230 affected buildings = 5.4 %)- The Georgian villages north of Tskhinvali: 2211 Buildings = 619 destroyed + 201 severely damaged + 1391 with no visible damage.(820 affected buildings = 37 %)
