Rochester: City of Quality. what a joke. the clock now doesn't look or sound like that anymore. i see the clock just about every other day now and it is completely different. i kind of like it how it was before.wow this video was really sad.

I am disappointed that the newly restored clock does not look like it did in 1962. For $80,000 I could have done a better job.

Not a lot of people showed up to see Midtown Plaza on its closing day. Mayor Bob Duffy confused everybody when they had that tribute to Midtown in December of last year. This is also why nobody from City Hall even bothered to show up as well. They sure showed up for the auction!

I remember having my 6th grade choir go and ding in front of the clock for Christmas. That was a great time.

I remember the monorail ! My uncle had his wed reception @ Sibley's in 86.

I was almost too late to see the plaza for the last time - and I wouldn't have, if I didn't go to the one-day charity auction which cleared out most of the remaining furniture and fixtures remaining in the place.Kinda sad - seeing the whole place empty and devoid of people. I almost wish I had made my last visit when it was still open.
