Viking Drinking Song)tune/lyrics c. 1993--Karen Unrein KahanDrink, for the wind blows cold andDrink for The Wolf runs free.Drink to the ships with the sails like wings andDrink to the storm-tossed seas.Drink to the lasting nightsand those who warm our beds.Drink to the mead that warms our heartsand the cold that clears our head.Drink to the Allfather's Eyefor Odin's sons are we.Drink to the World-Tree where he hungand the Runes of Mystery.Drink to the truth of steeland blood that falls like rain.Drink to Valhalla's golden wallsand to our kinsmen, slain.Drink to the Glory-fieldwhere a man embraces death, andthank the gods that we live at allwith our joyous dying breath!Drink for the wind blows cold andDrink for the Wolf runs freeDrink to the ships with the sails like wingsfor Odin's sons are we!.

I like the song, but it seems to me it would sound a bit better if everyone was on the same line. After a while I lost track of the lyrics.

I love this song...I've never heard it performed like this, though. Usually it's just old, drunken men around a campfire which, while it rings a bit of truth to the song, it's not nearly as pleasant aesthetically as this. :) Great job!
