I remember La'mour in Brooklyn NY. (home turf)1988. The GREATEST Anthrax show ever! I've never seen or been in a greater mosh pit. When Joey yelled "WAR DANCE" the whole place was one huge mosh pit. FRIGGAN AWESOME!!!!! I still have the shirt, but it no longer fits.

Hell no, Metallica was good, at the time, but not the best thrash band. I'd say it's a tie between Anthrax, Slayer, and Exodus.

Bull shit there albums are classics, they sold so many. Sure there new stuff kind of sucks but Metallica was the best thrash band around.

it's true a lot of bands have sold out because thrash wasnt popular. mettallica was a ridiculus thrash band, so was overkill.. and they suck no because they couldnt sell with thrash |
