Cardiff is now among Europe's most sophisticated and exciting capitals, with the development of Cardiff Bay presenting a dazzling array of restaurants, bars and visitor attractions, as well as the superb new Millennium Centre and views across the Bay which are truly breathtaking. The vibrant city of Cardiff and the outlying areas of South Wales form some of the most beautiful areas in the British Isles. The region's hotels, Inns and Guest Houses in Cardiff , Newport , Bridgend and other locations featured in our show are renowned for their warmth and hospitality. That old Welsh adage - 'there'll be a welcome in the hillsides' has much more than a ring of truth to it. This is a friendly land of castles, kings, music and poetry.

I don't understand why they advertise Cardiff with so much country feel the only green where you would stay in Cardiff is Bute Park, Cardiff is very much a city break though the places the video talk about aren't too far away you'd have to drive.

Cardiff is wonderful I live in the centre and yes I would call it sophisticated. You can get food from any culture there are wonderful bars and clubs. St. David's isn't anything special for shopping the arcades however are amazing and hardly anyone knows about them x] Cardiff is the modern city of the UK and with all the new developments here it's set to be huge. If you want to enjoy Cardiff stick to the centre and the bay they are slowly getting connected.

No mention of the victorian arcades. What a load of crap-St Davids is like any other shopping centre, why would you go to Cardiff for Boots? Christ.
