I guess you are right, this would be good at what the Brits call a "Light Support Weapon" which is like a suped-up assault rifle with as long a barrel as 5.56mm could ballistically benefit from. It is in between a true SAW/LMG and a rifle, able to offer the saturation and range of a SAW but limited in volume of fire by a fixed barrel and small magazine.

All I can say to that bullshit is that the Germans brought the war on Russia upon themselves. Russia was never a competent foe until the bad winter hit, and by that time the Germans were exhausting their resources keeping their men from starving in Stalingrad and fighting us at Normandy. As for the Japs... uhh... yes, it was a parallel. Ask anyone from Mongolia, China, the Philippines, hell, even ask the Australians. They were toast without our contribution.

Dude, we never wouldve broke out of Normandy if it wasn't for the Russians...And as for single-handedly defeating Japan, I don't think it's a sound parallel comparison to what Germany was up against at that time in their own two-front war.Meaning, if we were land locked like they were and had the Russians on our Eastern front, it woulda been hell.

I wouldn't say raped but the russians just kinda gave them more targets than bullets and they won because of it. I don't know any exact numbers but for every german there were about 20 russians and they fought dirty

Dude, I'm in total agreement. The British made a phenomenal stand, and they'll always be remembered for the Battle of Britain. But what you have to understand is that Britain was the only safe harbor in between America and the Axis of Evil. After London, they would have come for Washington. Pearl Harbor was really the last string for them to pull to wake us up. It was our responsibility to support you guys and the Free World.
