i think snoop did a lot of crack in the early and mid 90's and possibly jack as well, so to me that explains his current lack of complexity in rhymes and generally his character. yo what happened to snoop? seriously. when u listen to doggystyle, his worplay was sooo advanced. his rhyme patterns were ahead of his time. now he raps like ur average west coast rapper. i dont know but maybe he had a ghost writer for the first album. cuz from the doggfather on his shit was real weak. how is that possible that u just cant rap no more. and its not just his subject matter its the way he rapped. i dont get it.
