Oh man, there are tons of players now. Game is vastly different from "a long time ago". "Attack Objectives" now concentrate action in several focused locations, of which the number of "AO"s available is based on the total number of players online, rather than how it was in the past where anyone could just go attack any town at any time which spread players very thinly along the front lines.

Ah yes graphics not the best, but we dont play for graphics. B.E. stands so far above all other online games in 2 significant areas:1-It has THE largest virtual gaming world available: Half-scaled NW Germany-all of Belgium & Lux-SW Neth-NE France-SE England.2-Superb gameplay. Never the same game twice since the gameworld is perpetual.Besides, the learning curve is so steep that you might not even be ABLE to play even if you wanted to. They offer periodic free trials so see for yourself.

They actually use complex physics of all weapons & armor to simulate as best as possible to real-world physics for the damage models. If you check out the website, you can find posts showing damage models w/ trajectory charts of angle of penetration, armor thickness, artillery size, distance from target, etc. - it all comes into play significantly. Also note that these shots MUST be PRECISELY targeted to achieve the witnessed results.

The reason we pay montly is because there are people working on the game. You know, people generally want to get paid for their work. But I'm guessing you're a hippie and dislike money.
