i know......ive heard the whole messiah since i was 8i mean that there is ONE tenor voice that is louder than the whole choir

at that point of the song, it's only the tenors. First it's the bases, then tenors, then altos and then sopranos. It only makes sense that you hear the tenor over the entire choir there... since that group is the only one singing...

i think that overpowering a choir with at least more than 50 people in it is oversinging. its a CHOIR piece without SOLOS. and it obviously cant be healthy to sing over that many people, not is it a nice sound

at 1:50 there is a tenor that is louder than the rest of the choir and it sound awful. is it one of the soloists in the front?
