The medieval hilltop town of Sighisoara is world famous for its well-preserved historic architecture and for being the birthplace of Vlad Tepes. These photos were taken during our trip to Romania in May, 2006.

I wouldnt say these pictures can give you an idea what the town is like. I have been to a couple of top holiday destinations (not too many frankly) but Sighisoara has a charm and atmosphere that is hard to match. I have been there twice and I cant imagine myself not visiting the town again. It is WELL WORTH VISITING. Incredible and fantastic place to unwind and get under magic aura which you will find round each and every corner.
