u hold the brake just in case to prevent things like wat just happened with that kid....did u ever notice that automatic cars hav the same thing to change out of parking? u hit the brake and move it to Drivelol and amen to that man.... seriously, wat kind of idiot lets a kid who has no clue on how to control a 40k car move it?

WHAT THE FUCK....in europe almost everybody drives whit manuel, and i work at a car shop and we almost never gets cars in whit thier cluchts broken.... its only americans that can not drive whit manuel

why hit the brake when u have the clutch?if u hit the clutch hard enough the car will not move a bitanyway it is pretty stupid letting a 14 yr old drive a new car.....

robinp13it's common sense to hit the clutch and the brake when u start a manual ALWAYS...That's one thing my dad would always tell me when i was a kidand he did hit the accelerator cauz if u dint notice, the car did skid a little u can hear the car kick off.... pretty sure 1000 rpm is not enough to do that.. also, pay attention, u can hear the car speeding up :P

Chump couldn't handle a manual! Simple, start engine but dont put it in gear and it won't move. Automatics are for grandmas!!!!
